For the past year Harry and I have been working hard on Earndit in order to bring you the best user experience. This covers many tasks, ranging from speaking with potential reward partners about the benefits of offering a reward, to seamlessly tying in with tracking devices or apps, to ensuring the website runs smoothly, to letting the world know we exist, etc. It is a beautiful endeavor that excites us more and more each day.
We can now share this journey with the newest member of our team, Jonathan Hickman. Jonathan is an understated guy who has strong technical abilities and a knack for understanding how people interact with websites. You can already see his fingerprints on many new features on Earndit, such as:
- on the rankings page, the age & gender filters for the dynamic leaderboard
- on your profile page, the ability to change your email address
- on your points page, the callout if you don’t yet have any bonus points
- on the rewards page (if you’re not logged in), the listing of past rewards we’ve offered
We found Jonathan through a really cool service called Hirelite. It’s essentially speed-dating via webcam to connect technical talent with companies. Harry and I are delighted to have Jonathan join our dream of building a great company that will encourage people to be more active.
